The Krippenstein cable car, Five Fingers and the ice caves are across the lake in Obertraun, not in Hallstatt village. They belong to the region, but require a bus, car or boat connection.
Hallstatt is easy to explore on foot, while parking is scarce. The railway station is across the lake and the ferry crossing to the centre takes about 15 minutes.

No. It is across the lake. The station ferry reaches the village centre in about 15 minutes and normally connects with trains.
They are in Obertraun, on the other side of the lake. Use bus 542 or 543, a car or a suitable boat connection to reach the cable-car valley station.
Hallstatt has a lakeside recreation area roughly 2 km from the centre, not a sea beach. The larger family lido is in Obertraun.
Yes, but spaces are limited and can fill early. The tourist office recommends arriving early or using train and ferry.
The Dachstein cable car and caves are in Obertraun. Gosausee and Bad Ischl are separate destinations, and Vienna or Salzburg day tours begin hours away.
